Recycle your old fridge or freezer
If you are buying a new fridge or freezer did you know that you can get money for your old one and have it removed from your home for free? Efficiency Manitoba has an appliance recycling program that will pay you a $30 rebate for your old fridge or freezer.
“When you recycle an eligible full-sized fridge and/or freezer, we can also take your working dehumidifier, window air conditioner, undersized (bar-sized) fridge, and/or undersized freezer. These appliances aren’t eligible for a rebate, but we’ll take them and recycle them for you for free!”
