The Fine Print Matters : Manitoba’s New Condo Offer & Disclosure Forms
Join us and our speaker, Maureen Terra, to find out what you need to know about buying or selling residential condominium units in Manitoba.
A new form of Offer to Purchase for residential condominiums came into force in Manitoba November 1, 2025. Several critical changes were made, including a new Property Disclosure Statement.
Maureen Terra has been practicing law for over 22 years, including as a District Registrar for the Morden Land Titles Office where she was responsible for providing decisions on conformity with the land related statutes, including mortgage sale and foreclosure, tax sales, real property applications, subdivisions and condominiums, and the issuance of various legal notices and orders. She opened her own firm in 2021, MTERRA Legal Services, with a focus on real estate law. This includes a mixture of residential, commercial, condominiums, and land development. She also provides consulting services to other law firms and organizations, including the Manitoba Real Estate Association, and instructs the Real Estate Transactions Course at the University of Manitoba's law school, Robson Hall.
Passionate about education, Maureen has been a frequent presenter on a variety of real estate topics, including for the various Land Titles Offices throughout the Province, The Law Society of Manitoba, the Real Property Subsection of the Manitoba Bar Association, the Association of Manitoba Land Surveyors, the Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board, the Manitoba Real Estate Association, The City of Winnipeg, and various real estate brokerages. In 2024, Maureen began teaching the Real Estate Transactions course at the University of Manitoba's law school, Robson Hall.

**LUNCH OFF THE MENU: Please note that the venue requires that all menu orders (instead of the buffet) be placed and paid for at the front of the restaurant before entering the room. Orders will not be taken inside the room, but you are welcome to bring your food and drinks in with you.
