CCI MB Board Member Profile Debbie Buckingham, Retired

Debbie is a retired legal assistant, having worked in that industry for close to 45 years.

Debbie and her husband have been condo owners for the past nine and a half years and thoroughly enjoy the freedom and luxury the transition has made to their lives. Just lock the door and away you go!

Since retiring, Debbie has served on the Board of her condo corporation because she felt the need to become a good condo “citizen” and become actively engaged in the health of her building and the condo corporation itself.

Being a Board member inspired her to become interested in CCI and its efforts to enhance the experiences of condo owners and to educate condo owners, real estate agents, trades and other professionals affiliated with the condo world.

For several years, Debbie has volunteered with The Clothes Closet, an experience she finds extremely fulfilling and rewarding. The Clothes Closet is a program of the South Winnipeg Family Information Centre which provides work appropriate clothing, free of charge, to women who have left abusive situations or who are in job training programs and preparing for job interviews.

Debbie and her husband are proud Nana and Papa to two young grandsons with whom they love to spend as much time as their parents will allow.
