WHY I ♥ MY CONDO - Winter 2019

Safety, warmth, convenience and affordability. These are the four main reasons why I am enjoying my condo.

Feeling safe and secure are the basics of life. I know that the door locks, and the building is safely monitored. I know that there is a person on site that I can go to, and I can call my Condo Management group and I will get an answer to any question or problem regarding my building.

Warmth – In this country, and particularly in Winnipeg, being warm is very important. It’s hard to know before the purchase if this will be a problem, but I am sure if there were issues the Condo Board and management would be advised. This is a basic need, and in my suite, it is perfect.

Convenience – The location of our condo was one of the reasons we were sold on it. Supermarket, bank, doctors and shopping are all within minutes of where we live. Knowing that we would never have to shovel snow, and that all we had to do was enjoy the garden was one more point to buying the condo.

Affordability – When figuring out the costs of the condo, we compared our costs in the house to what we would pay in the condo. There was no question; the condo was the smarter and more economical option.

At the end of it all, knowing that we can leave for a few days and not worry about the grass needing to be cut or the snow shoveled, we will not consider moving back to house again.
